Football League
Banner Neighborhoods’ co-ed basketball and football leagues help improve the quality of life in the community not only by engaging the youth in constructive activities, but by building relations between youth and adults in the community.  Additionally, youth in the leagues sign team agreements that say they will attend school everyday, earn passing grades, stay out of trouble, be a positive member of the community, and take part in service projects. To take part in our leagues, players must live within our boundaries.

Our football league begins registration in the spring, immediately after basketball season. The season begins with a skills evaluation and draft, followed by practices, then games beginning in September. The season wraps up with the playoffs and championship game in November.

Each coach in our sports leagues is a volunteer, and players do not get “cut” from the teams based on skill- all children in Banner’s boundaries are welcome.
