Banner Seniors

Helping older adults stay connected, healthy, and safe at home

Banner Seniors program supports older adults across East Baltimore with the resources, relationships, and practical help they need to age with dignity in their homes and communities they love. Through wellness workshops, social events, referrals, benefits support, and home repair coordination through HUBS, Banner Seniors helps residents remain connected, engaged, informed, and safe.

Our approach is simple: we care for the home and the heart. We help older adults build social connections, access trusted information, navigate services, and address home safety needs that can make aging in place more secure.

Program Highlights:

  • Senior Clubs and social gatherings that reduce isolation and build community
  • Wellness workshops on fall prevention, chronic disease management, nutrition, mental wellness, and healthy aging
  • Referrals for transportation, food assistance, legal support, public benefits, and other community resources
  • HUBS home repair coordination for eligible older adult homeowners
  • One-on-one support from Banner staff to help residents understand available services and next steps
